To ensure leakage free Mechanical seal, it's faces should be properly lapped and polished. We provide extra attention on this aspect as life of seal is depending on lapping and polishing quite greatly We use best grade of lapping compound and oils to ensure better finishing of surfaces. Flatness of faces are checked of 100% components for 1-2 light band under Helium monochromatic light optical instrument. Lapping
is very critical process hence wide experience and knowledge is required.
Properly lapped components offer better life to Mechanical Seal.

We at Unicorn Engineers are committed to better quality. We do the rigorous inspection of all components and assembly of mechanical seal. All components are inspected on shop floor during and after machining. These components again undergo final check up for dimension and finishing at the time of assembly. To ensure better inspection, we have separated inspection room in our head office comprising all measuring instruments and Optical Instrument (For surface finish Checking). Full team of Unicorn Engineer is involved in ensuring Quality to goods. We pay special attention in checking the quality of Raw Material dimensions of raw, finished & assembled goods, visual check ups, laboratory Reports etc. All the bought out components are also inspected 100 % to avoid any fitment problem. We have dummy shafts & gauges to check the fitment of assembly before packing.
